A new concept called Orale Cantina appears to be filling the former Mighty Kong Cafe space at 3701 Stockton Blvd. Fictitious business name filing records indicate the new restaurant is owned and operated by local restaurateur Haleem Haider.

The space is listed as a turnkey kitchen and restaurant ready for occupancy. The freestanding 3,440-square-foot building also comes with a fenced outdoor courtyard and a detached garage that can be use for food truck parking. According to Turton Commercial Real Estate’s Facebook update, the property was sold a month ago at $770,000.

Haider confirmed with What Now Sacramento via text about the upcoming cantina, but hadn’t replied to our request for more details. So far, no liquor license has been filed for the new business and the previous licensed owned by Mighty Kong Cafe has expired.
