Kyle and Hailey Garrett, a multi-unit franchisee for the popular Oregon-based coffee chain Dutch Bros, is working on another store in Elk Grove. Garrett is currently going through the permitting process with the City of Elk Grove for a new construction on the vacant lot next to the Shell gas station on West Taron Drive at Stonelake Landing Center. This news was first seen in the Business Jorunal.

The Stonelake Landing Center location is still early in progress. According to the Business Journal, Garrett expects the new location to open by the end of 2025, although it could be delayed into early 2026. The Garretts have opened 13 locations throughout Northern California since opening their first location in Elk Grove in 2015.

“Our locations have been really strong throughout Sacramento, Galt and Lodi,” Garrett told the Business Journal. “We just think there’s this massive need and want for convenience right now.” According to Garrett, these new construction drive-through projects can take two to three years to get full approval.

In addition to their expenditure as Dutch Bros franchisees, the Garretts are also working on opening their first independent fast casual concept, Bohl, as previously reported here.
