It looks like a new restaurant is beginning to take shape in Folsom’s Broadstone Marketplace.

Local restaurateurs Ahsan Ali and Syed Husain, operating under NAB Club LLC, have applied for a California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control license to open a new eatery at 2750 East Bidwell St, Suite 100. The space was most recently home to Five Guys, which closed in late November.

Ali confirmed the news with What Now Sacramento, noting that the restaurant is projected to open in approximately three to four months, pending construction timelines and final approvals. While Ali is currently overseas and unable to provide full concept details, he said that more information, including the restaurant’s name and menu direction, should be shared in early January.

The pending license application is for a Type 47 on-sale general eating place, which would allow the future restaurant to serve beer, wine, and spirits alongside food. According to state records, the application was filed on December 8, 2025, and is currently under review.

Ali is no stranger to the restaurant industry. He is a local operator with multiple Wingstop and Slice House locations throughout California, suggesting this upcoming project will be backed by experienced hands.
