An El Dorado Hills restaurant recently closed its doors to make way for another concept.
Sellands Neighborhood Cafe & Bar has shuttered its location at 4370 Town Center Blvd in El Dorado Hills Town Center as part of a broader renovation and rebranding initiative by Selland Family Restaurants.
A company representative confirmed that the space will soon reopen as OBO’ Italian Table & Bar, marking the concept’s second location. “OBO’ Italian Table and Bar is coming to El Dorado Hills at Town Center!” the team shared on Instagram. “Experience handmade pastas, pizzas, desserts, and Italian classics crafted with passion and quality ingredients, in a new warm and modern space. Stay tuned for our updates!”
Founded in 2016, OBO’ operates under the Selland Family Restaurants umbrella, which also includes Sellands Neighborhood Cafe & Bar, Ella Dining Room & Bar and The Kitchen. The Italian concept has earned a loyal following with its rustic, approachable dishes, including housemade pastas, wood-fired pizzas, seasonal antipasti, and classic desserts.
According to a report from Placerville NewsWire, employees affected by the closure are being reassigned where possible, and no permanent layoffs are expected. “We want to ensure our team transitions smoothly throughout the renovation,” a statement from Selland Family Restaurants read.
In the comments on the announcement post, ownership also hinted at broader growth plans, noting they are “working toward expanding OBO into other markets,” with El Dorado Hills serving as the first step in that expansion.
