A South Korean bakery-café franchise is expanding to the Village at Sacramento Gateway in Natomas.
Paris Baguette will soon move into the former Don Quixote’s Mexican Grill space at 3654 N Freeway Blvd, Suite 330, according to the Sacramento Business Journal.
Founded in South Korea in 1988, the French-inspired franchise currently operates more than 4,000 bakery-cafés worldwide, with nearly 20 locations in California. The chain made its Sacramento debut in 2017 with a location in Arden-Arcade, later expanding to Roseville’s Highland Crossing shopping mall.
Husband-and-wife franchisees Michelle Renee Hira and Sudhir Hira, who opened the Roseville site in December 2023, are behind the upcoming bakery.
Sudhir told What Now Sacramento that the new 2,500-square-foot location will offer Paris Baguette’s signature sweet lineup, with a wide range of expertly crafted cakes, tarts, pastries, donuts, and other treats, as well as shareable breads, breakfast sandwiches, salads, and wraps. The menu also includes an impressive array of coffees, teas, smoothies, and other beverages.
The Natomas location is still in the permitting stage of development, and Sudhir said an opening date has not yet been determined.
