A fresh concept from a familiar team is getting ready to open its doors in Roseville.
The ownership group behind Mia Restaurant & Bar is launching a new eatery called Pera Mezze House at 1465 Eureka Rd, Suite 100, just steps away from Mia.
While Mia leans Italian, this new venture will spotlight authentic, scratch-made dishes inspired by the flavors and techniques of the Eastern Mediterranean.
“Pera will offer Mediterranean cuisine, highlighting both Turkish and Greek culinary traditions,” one of the partners told What Now Sacramento. “Our goal is to create an upscale dining experience focused on mezze—shareable small plates rich in authentic flavors and textures—alongside hearty meat entrées and other signature dishes that make Mediterranean food so beloved.”
On top of the 20+ shareable plates, nearly everything will be made in-house, including yogurt spreads, fresh-baked breads, and other regional specialties. While many ingredients will be sourced locally, the team plans to import hard-to-find herbs from regions like Anatolia to ensure authentic flavors.
The group also has more culinary plans on the horizon. Eventually, they’d like to open a dry-aged steakhouse, another concept they feel is lacking in Roseville. “We want to have more restaurants here,” explained the partner. “Some really quality food. We want to be known for our service and food.”
For now, the team is making some light upgrades to the space and hopes to welcome guests to Pera Mezze House in about a month.
