A beloved hangout place at the crossing on 16th and L Streets, Public House Downtown, is bidding farewell to Sacramento. The brewpub shared the news with the local community through an Instagram post.

Located at 132 16th St, Sacramento, CA 95814, Public House Downtown has served for 13 long years. However, it is set to shut its operations for good on June 30, 2025.

In its farewell post, Public House Downtown stated that it will offer “the final pour” to Sacramento locals on June 30. Throughout the day, the local community can savor specials, including $4 pints and $6 big beers.

Mason Wong, co-owner of MAC Hospitality and Public House Downtown, expressed his gratitude to the loyal patrons and staff at the brewpub. He added that its redesign would help in Sacramento’s revitalization.

“As we look ahead, we’re excited to introduce something new that we believe will delight and inspire,” Wong said. He further stated that Casa Lola could help locals and visitors build dining experiences.
