As we reported earlier this month, Sacramento International Airport is updating its food and beverage offerings in Terminal A. The new tenant roster will present a balanced mixture of local businesses and popular chains, one of them being the all-time popular Starbucks.

According to an opening timeframe reported by ABC 10, the first Starbucks will share a vacant spot with Golden Grove Market, a small retail concept featuring various paper goods, books, and gift items. The first Starbucks is anticipated to open in the summer between June to August 2024.

A second Starbucks is also proposed inside Sycamore Market, a new pre-security space in Terminal A. The second location is anticipated to open between October 2024 and March 2025. Potentially, a third Starbucks will open during the last phase, set to happen in late 2025 to early 2026, although nothing has been confirmed.

With a few recent and upcoming location openings, Starbucks now operates up to 69 Stores around the Sacramento area according to data published on Patch. It appears the current Terminal A Starbucks, operated by HMSHost, will also stay, meaning there could be up to 4 Starbucks inside the terminal.
