A popular San Francisco dessert café is planning to open a Davis location next year.
NaYa Dessert Café will launch its third outpost at 620 Fourth St, taking over the former Farmers Kitchen space, confirmed franchisee Paige Rosebrook, a longtime Davis resident. She said that the Davis outpost will mirror the original San Francisco shop in both menu and atmosphere.
Taking its name from the Thai expression “Naya,” a word that adds warmth and friendliness to everyday conversation, the café reflects that same inviting mood in its menu. Guests can expect a lineup of Asian-style sweets, including delicate crêpes, fluffy cakes, shaved ice creations, milk teas, and fruit-forward drinks.
Rosebrook, who has been a loyal NaYa customer for years, told What Now Sacramento that her decision to open a Davis location was inspired by her own experience traveling from Davis to San Francisco just to enjoy NaYa’s desserts. Excited to bring the café closer to her friends and community, she reached out to the company to make the Davis location a reality and will now be running it herself.
“Anytime is dessert time,” she said, quoting the café’s tagline. While an exact opening date hasn’t been finalized, the team is aiming for a mid-January 2026 debut.
