A Bay Area North Indian and Pakistani restaurant is preparing to make its Sacramento debut.
Shan Restaurant & Banquet Hall is opening its fourth location at 830 Northgate Blvd, Suites 300 & 400, just off Interstate 80, according to a recent social media update from Rome Real Estate Group. Once it debuts, the new outpost will join existing Shan Restaurant locations in San Jose, Santa Clara, and San Mateo.
Founded by owner Amer Choudry, the restaurant offers a variety of North Indian and Pakistani cuisine. According to the company’s website, Shan Restaurant is “dedicated to delivering the finest flavors with authenticity and passion,” with dishes prepared using fresh ingredients and time-honored recipes.
While the Sacramento menu has not yet been confirmed, existing Shan locations serve a wide-ranging selection of traditional dishes. Offerings include tandoori specialties, kebab rolls and wraps, curries, biryani, and freshly baked naan, alongside a variety of vegetarian options.
The approximately 4,300-square-foot space features a fully built-out, second-generation restaurant and bar with existing kitchen infrastructure already in place. In addition to regular dining service, the venue will also function as a banquet hall, making it suitable for weddings, celebrations, and large gatherings.
An official opening date hasn’t been announced, and Choudry has not yet responded to inquiries from What Now Sacramento. Stay tuned for updates as Shan Restaurant & Banquet Hall prepares to bring its beloved Bay Area flavors to Sacramento.
