Starbucks appears to be planning for another drive-through location in South Sacramento at 8306 Elk Grove Florin Rd, within the Promenade at Arbor Creek Center. The vacant lot is currently under escrow and plans for the proposed Starbucks have been submitted for review.

Filings for the new Starbucks were submitted under California Gold Development Corp. The plan proposes a new 2,279-square-foot Starbucks store with a drive-through, an outdoor patio area, 16 parking stalls, and an interior seating area with 30 seats. The proposal is currently in the pre-application phase and is seeking a use permit. The drive-through has a maximum capacity of 15 vehicles.

While Starbucks faced significant losses due to the latest boycott, plans for upcoming locations around Greater Sacramento all seem to be moving forward. Reported upcoming locations include the Madison Avenue store, the Natomas location anticipated in March, the Shops at Folsom Ranch, and Fairfield City.

Currently, there is no projected opening timeframe for the Promenade location. Though two other Starbucks operate right across the street, the proposed new location will be the only one with the drive-through option.
