It looks like a wine company with roots in Amador County is preparing to debut a new concept in Midtown Sacramento.
Teneral Cellars founder Jill Osur, who also serves as the brand’s president and CEO, has applied for a winegrower’s license at 1050 20th Street, Suite 110, with paperwork filed under Teneral Cellars Inc.
Launched in 2020, the award-winning, women-owned winery is known for its sustainably farmed wines and mission-driven approach. At its recently opened Plymouth tasting room, guests can sample flights, enjoy food pairings, and purchase bottles, while the adjacent Grand Reserve Inn offers luxury accommodations and curated wine country experiences.
Additionally, Teneral donates 10% of profits to organizations that empower women and advance gender and racial equity. “We are a women-owned and operated producer of sustainable, phenomenal wines, harnessing the power of business for good,” reads the company’s website. “Exceptional wine is our catalyst for connection, crucial conversations, and investments toward an equitable future for all women.”
Osur told What Now Sacramento that she’s currently finalizing contracts and expects to share more about the Sacramento project soon.
