Rancho Cordova will soon welcome a flavorful new addition.
Thai Fresh 2 U, a modern Thai concept from husband-and-wife duo Thomas and Kalia Vang, is preparing to open at 10655 Coloma Rd in the Center Point shopping mall. The restaurant will take over the former Vegan Fresh 2 U space and is a collaboration with the family behind both Vegan Fresh 2 U and Pho Fresh 2 U.
Kalia told What Now Sacramento that the menu will feature a vibrant selection of Thai dishes with a “modern twist,” from familiar favorites like pad Thai and papaya salad to crispy pork belly and spicy crying tiger beef.
“We aim to serve you the highest quality of Thai food with the freshest ingredients,” reads the restaurant’s social media bio.
Before this venture, the Vangs ran Wayside Noodles in Fresno, where they earned a following for their fresh takes on pho, pad Thai, drunken noodles, and more.
While the date isn’t locked in, the team hopes to celebrate Thai Fresh 2 U’s grand opening during the first week of June 2025.
