The upcoming Whitney Ranch shopping center in Rocklin is set to welcome another tasty addition.

The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is headed to the upcoming shopping center at the southwest corner of Whitney Ranch Parkway and University Avenue. Known for its fresh and healthy Mediterranean fare, the restaurant will join other confirmed tenants like NuYo Frozen Yogurt, Jack’s Urban Eats, Chipotle, and Jersey Mike’s.

Franchisee Arjun Dheer, who operates The Great Greek locations in Roseville, Rocklin, and Sacramento, expressed enthusiasm about the opening in a recent email to the Sacramento Business Journal. “We are very excited to come and serve the community of Whitney Ranch with our diverse selection of fresh, savory and healthy food options,” he said, noting that the eatery is slated to open this summer.

The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill has grown to more than 60 locations across the nation, serving a menu of customizable bowls, gyros, fresh salads, hummus plates, and other signature dishes. Each location emphasizes fresh ingredients, made-to-order meals, and a casual, family-friendly dining experience, appealing to both health-conscious eaters and fans of Mediterranean cuisine.

The Whitney Ranch retail development spans roughly 95,000 square feet across 10 buildings and is anchored by a 44,000-square-foot Nugget Markets. Most of the shopping center’s tenants are expected to debut in summer or early fall 2026.
