A botanical coffee shop is blossoming in Southside Park.
Casa Flores is slated to open this summer at 1033 S St in Sacramento, reports the Sacramento Business Journal. The café is the creation of three spirited sisters—Hassel (27), Sabinne (23), and Thamara Flores (20)—originally from El Salvador. Together, they’re transforming the cozy 750-square-foot retail space into a lush, flower-filled caffeinated retreat.
All three sisters studied at California State University, Sacramento, and bring distinct skills to the project: Hassel received a degree in graphic design, Sabinne studied film production, and Thamara, currently pursuing fashion merchandising and marketing, is set to graduate next year.
On the menu, expect a mix of coffee and tea beverages, paired with light bites like Salvadoran quesadillas, cookies, and pastries, including muffins and Danishes. The space will channel the quaint charm of a European café while honoring the sisters’ Latin and Spanish roots.
In addition to the sweet treats and drinks, Casa Flores will double as a community gathering space. Once it debuts, the sisters plan to host regular community events such as open-mic nights, craft gatherings, art showcases, and even local running meetups.
