We recently covered the news about Philz Coffee joining The Boulevard in the east building. Now, Urban Plates, a chef-driven healthy fast-casual restaurant concept, has also confirmed its tenancy at The Boulevard at Campus Commons in mid-2024.

Founded by industry veterans Saad Nadhir and John Zagara in 2019, the San Diego-based chain currently has 22 locations, with 14 of those being in Southern California. Urban Plates has also confirmed a location coming to the Davis Commons once the development is complete.

The Boulevard is a new development located at the corner of Howe Avenue and Fair Oaks Boulevard. The development consists of two buildings and the larger east building with 19,647 square feet of retail space is expected to be completed in mid-January. Once the site construction is completed, confirmed tenants will begin renovation work to prepare for opening.

Leasing at The Boulevard is handled by broker Andrea Sessions with The Edwards Company. Sessions indicated that there was no shortage of interest in the development. Therefore, it comes down to choosing the right tenants to provide a balanced and robust experience for future visitors.
