Alcohol Beverage Control records indicate that Yard House is pending for a liquor license. The application shows the future restaurant will be located at the SW corner of Elk Grove Blvd and Big Horn Blvd, inside a new development in Elk Grove called The Village.
The Village, part of the Pappas Investment portfolio, will provide 127,000 square feet of retail space. The development is conveniently located off of Interstate 5 and Highway 99, adjacent to the proposed site of the city’s new Civic Center and a future Mercy Hospital. Pappas plans to deliver space late in the first quarter of 2025.
Yard House is a high-end sports bar and restaurant chain with an extensive menu featuring over 100 items, including burgers, sandwiches, steaks, seafood, salads, and appetizers. The chain has over 100 beer taps at its locations, offering “the world’s largest selection of draft beer.”
Yard House was founded in Irvine in 1996 and entered the Sacramento market in 2011. The brand was then acquired by Danden Restaurants Inc. in 2012. Currently, there are 88 Yard House restaurants in the United States, 24 of which are in California.
