East Sacramento Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant Jayna Gyro has confirmed a new location at 1132 Galleria Blvd. Suite 100, in Roseville, located in the Ridge at Creekside. Middle Eastern street food restaurant Shawarma Stackz previously occupied the 2,600-square-foot space. Jayna Gyro also has another location in Emeryville, which opened in 2020.

Owner and restauranteur Yusuf Topal signed the lease in October. The new space will be Jayna Gyro’s third location and will be largely similar to East Sacramento and will have the same menu. However, unlike the existing Jayna stores, which were managed by Toptal and his business partner Doron Perkins, the new Jayna Gyro is under an extended partnership with two new partners: Dogan Ozdogan and Muhammet Culha. The new partnership will spearhead the Roseville location with plans to add another Jayna Gyro store in the Bay Area.

Jayna Gyro specializes in Greek and Turkish cuisine. The menu includes pitas and bowls, gyros, salads, dips, as well as traditional appetizers. According to Topal, the Jayna concept is a scaled-down version of Tarla Mediterranean Bar + Grill, his Michelin-recognized restaurant concept in Napa Valley.

Jayna Gyro’s Roseville store is anticipated to open in December. The restaurant is located next to Ike’s Love & Sandwiches. At the time of this coverage, Topal hasn’t replied to What Now Sacramento‘s email request for comments.
