Bitelo Brazilian Steakhouse has opened its first San Antonio location at 7807 W Loop 1604 N., Suite 1102, bringing its Brazilian churrascaria concept to the Far Northwest Side, according to the San Antonio Culture Map.
Located within The Portico at Shaenfield Ranch, the restaurant is the second location for the family-owned concept, which originated in the Austin-area suburb of Cedar Park. The San Antonio location is part of the larger Portico development, a 54,100-square-foot project that has added several new restaurant and retail concepts to the area.
Bitelo Brazilian Steakhouse is operated by Jesus and Ileana Salazar, along with other members of the ownership team. The restaurant specializes in a Brazilian churrascaria-style dining experience, where gaucho chefs carve meats tableside.
The menu features Brazilian-style cuts including picanha, filet mignon, and linguiça sausage, alongside a salad bar and hot side dishes such as rice, black beans, fried bananas, garlic mashed potatoes, and pão de queijo. The restaurant also offers desserts, wine, cocktails, and the traditional Brazilian caipirinha.
The San Antonio restaurant occupies approximately 8,416 square feet. According to Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation records, the $1.5 million project included a restaurant finish-out with a bar, dining area, private room, kitchen, office, and restrooms.
The restaurant joins several other concepts at The Portico at Shaenfield Ranch, including Box St. All Day, Crepeccino, D’ Fish House, El Mercado, and Makirrito, adding another dining option to the growing Far Northwest Side development.
Bitelo Brazilian Steakhouse’s San Antonio location is at 7807 W Loop 1604 N., Suite 1102, San Antonio, TX 78254.
