Buffalo Wild Wings GO is a concept, as suggested, with a focus on getting you your wings and on your way. There are only about 250 locations, and now one more is on the way to opening, this time in the Greater San Antonio area. According to a recently filed permit, the new Buffalo Wild Wings GO will open at 126 East Griffin Parkway.
Construction on the new BWW GO is slated to start in mid-March and wrap up by mid-May this year. The building will sit at a whopping 1,500 square feet, which is the norm for Buffalo Wild Wings GO locations.
The brand debuted Buffalo Wild Wings GO in Atlanta in 2020. By 2024, it had reached its 100th Buffalo Wild Wings GO location, and by mid-2025, the chain exceeded 200. Texas is part of a major expansion for the quick-service BWW dining option.
At the helm of the new Buffalo Wild Wings GO coming to East Griffin Pkwy is franchisee Jimmy Boparai. What Now San Antonio briefly spoke with Boparai, who confirmed the Buffalo Wild Wings GO opening coming to Mission, but was unable to share further details by the time of this publication.
Buffalo Wild Wings was founded in Ohio in 1982 by Jim Disbrow and Scott Lowery, who sought to bring authentic Buffalo, New York-style chicken wings to the area. Known as B-Dubs, the chain is recognized for its extensive sauce menu and for pairing sports with dining.
Customers can purchase party packs of wings along with appetizers such as mozzarella sticks, onion rings, or potato wedges. However, with sauces like Brown Sugar Heat, Golden Fire Sauce, and Mango Habanero, the fresh veggies as a side are a go-to. Besides a plethora of sauced-up or rubbed-down wings, Buffalo Wild Wings GO also offers burgers, tenders, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and desserts.
