According to a recently submitted permit application, Burger King is expanding its San Antonio area footprint.
Public records reveal that the international chain plans to debut a new outpost in Schertz at 1008 Farm-To-Market Road 78, near establishments such as Domino’s Pizza, El Charro Mexican Restaurant, and Thai Chef.
What Now San Antonio reached out to Ali Sutaria, the franchisee behind the location — as well as an outpost in Floresville that was constructed in 2021, according to Wilson County News — but he could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, the filing shares that the “construction of new stand-alone fast-food restaurant” is scheduled to begin on June 30, 2024, and finish on December 31, 2025 — and will cost an estimated $3,500,000 to complete.
An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
