Hacienda Grill is one of the newest concepts to hit the Greater San Antonio community. The new restaurant is slated to open at 4849 Roosevelt Ave, according to a recently filed permit.
“New construction of a 4,920 square foot restaurant building, along with associated site improvements, including new parking areas and vehicular circulation,” the permit reads.
Construction on the rather large establishment is expected to start at the end of this March and wrap up before the end of December 2026. If all goes well, we could see the new Hacienda Grill up and running before the end of the year or at the beginning of 2027.
There are multiple names listed on the permit, including Jose Fernandez, Norma Herrera, and Jesus Fernandez. What Now San Antonio attempted to reach out to the group, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.
While there is a permit available, there isn’t much information available about the new eatery. The Hacienda Grill is a pretty common name in the culinary world. While there are many similar names in San Antonio, none are attached to the names listed on the permit. The new Hacidena Grill also does not have an online presence at the moment, with no social media or website listed online.
Traditional Mexican restaurant, Cocula Jalisco Mexican Restaurant, is currently listed at the address where Hacienda Grill is expected to open. Hacienda Grill will be in great company with the Northstar Bar and Grill, Tokyo Cafe, and Cajun Crackin’, not far from the new eatery.
We suspect, just like those listed above, that we should hear quite a bit about this new restaurant once it opens.
Hacienda Grill is anticipated to open at 4849 Roosevelt Ave before the end of the year.
(This is a developing story. Once more information is made available, we will update this article. Stay tuned!)
