According to a recently submitted permit application, local restaurant chain Taqueria Datapoint is gearing up to open its fifth outpost in San Antonio.
Coming to 25211 N. US Highway the eatery will land near establishments such as Bill Miller BBQ, Dutch Bros Coffee, and Whataburger.
What Now San Antonio spoke briefly with the concept’s owner, Francisco Lopez, to inquire about his plans for the location, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, the filing reveals that the “first generation finish-out for a restaurant and commercial kitchen” of the 3,159-square-foot space is scheduled to begin on September 1 and finish on January 1, 2026, and will cost an estimated $640,000 to complete.
The new outpost on 25211 N. US Highway will join the existing Taqueria Datapoint restaurants located on Canyon Golf Road, De Zavala Road, Gramercy Place, Huebner Road, and Medical Drive.
Menu options include Mexican and American breakfast plates served all day, mini taquitos “a la yaka mix,” tacos — topped with carnitas, al pastor, or barbacoa, to name just a few options — taquitos de tripas, and parrillada.
