Pepperoni’s Pizza has been a beloved Texas pizza chain since its inception, now the brand is embarking on opening its first San Antonio location. According to a permit filed in 2024, the Houston-area pizza chain is set to open its first Alamo City eatery in the Bulverde Crossing shopping center at 18010 Bulverde Rd #107.
According to the permit, construction on the 1,200-square-foot San Antonio Pepperoni’s Pizza outpost started in April 2024 and was supposed to be completed by the end of 2025.
Culture Map reports that the first Bexar County Pepperoni’s Pizza, which has yet to open, is slated to open in early 2026.
“With more than 20 locations and more to come, Pepperoni’s is honored to be part of your dining experience,” the Pepperoni’s Pizza website reads.
That dining experience from the booming pizza chain started back in 1990, when founder Ray Salti and his family opened the first Pepperoni’s Pizza in Houston.
“With a commitment to serving New York-style pizzas made from the highest quality ingredients while making a positive contribution to the community,” the website reads.
“Our commitment to quality starts in the field.”
Salti collaborated with Rob DiNapoli, president of DiNapoli Brand Tomatoes, to grow and harvest premium California tomatoes for Pepperoni’s signature sauces.
“Passion for quality ingredients doesn’t end there; we also source dough made from untreated flour, never bleached or bromated,” the website reads.
“We build partnerships with trusted brands to bring gluten-free and vegan options, we offer fresh, innovative salads, juicy buffalo wings, and delicious desserts.”
Pepperoni’s Pizza offers a variety of pizza, wings, and salad, including their signature pizzas like the Supreme, the New Yorker, and the Pepperonis Special, which includes tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, fresh mushrooms, green peppers, black olives, and fresh tomatoes.
Alamo City residents and visitors can rejoice in knowing that they can try all of this and more near home when the new Pepperoni’s Pizza opens for the first time in San Antonio in the Bulverde Crossing shopping center at 18010 Bulverde Rd #107, early this year.
