Stratus Surfaces is expanding its presence in San Antonio with a new facility planned at 118 Interpark Blvd., Suite 501, according to records filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).

The project, listed under TABS2027001942, calls for a 57,840-square-foot interior finish-out within an existing shell building at Interpark Building 5. The project carries an estimated construction cost of $700,000 and is privately funded on private land for private use.

According to the TDLR filing, construction is scheduled to begin on November 27, 2026, with completion anticipated by June 30, 2027. The project is currently listed as registered.

Stratus Surfaces specializes in the wholesale distribution of natural stone, quartz, and porcelain slabs for countertop, backsplash, accent wall, and other design applications. The company offers three primary product lines: StratusQuartz, StratusPorcelain, and Natural Stone.

Its natural stone selection includes materials such as marble, granite, quartzite, and soapstone, while its engineered offerings include quartz and large-format porcelain slabs. The company says its slab galleries allow customers to view and select materials in person, with homeowners, interior designers, builders, fabricators, and contractors among those it serves.

Stratus Surfaces operates as a wholesale distributor rather than an installation company. According to its website, the company works with fabricators and contractors who purchase and install the materials, while its galleries allow customers to view and select slabs for their projects.

The planned San Antonio project could provide additional space for the company’s slab inventory and customer-facing operations, although the TDLR filing itself only describes the work as an interior finish-out in an existing shell building and does not specifically identify the facility as a gallery or warehouse.

Interpark Logistics Holdings, L.P. is listed as the property owner, with Allan Young named as the contact. Ashley Durbin is listed as the person filing the project, while LK Design Group is identified as the design firm.

The TDLR filing does not currently provide an official opening date for the Stratus Surfaces facility.
