blue pokē is gearing up to introduce their second restaurant in North Park. The National City based build-your-own bowl restaurant will land on El Cajon Blvd at Kansas, steps from the new Pure Project tasting room and The Mighty Bin.

Established in 2018 by childhood friends who later became commercial fishermen, the team behind blue pokē took from their many years of working in the seafood industry to open an ocean-friendly restaurant. The company ethos is: people, purpose, and planet.

blue pokē works with small fisheries to provide only the freshest, line-caught seafood, prioritizing maintaining the source and using sustainable practices. Their dedication to the planet is also shown in their efforts to reduce waste through composting in-house, and using zero plastic by providing compostable utensils and bowls.

blue pokē serves individualized pokē bowls and burritos, with various seafood options, toppings, sauces, and fresh add-ins. Expect the same customizable menu in North Park as their original National City location.

A rep for blue pokē says we can expect their second restaurant to debut on July 15th. Follow blue pokē on Instagram for updates and opening announcements.
