Creative House have lined up an exciting new project in Coronado according to a new permit filing. SanDiegoVille first reported the business has taken over a 6,500-square-foot space in Coronado Plaza to make way for a yet-to-be-named restaurant.

The high traffic corner unit on Orange Avenue had formerly housed Boardwalk Beach Club until it closed in 2020. Coronado Plaza sits just steps from Hotel del Coronado and Coronado Beach.

Creative House is San Diego’s commercial real estate driven property development company behind projects like Nolita Hall, Lofty Coffee Co. in Little Italy, and Half Door Brewing Company in East Village.

The group, founded by Douglas Hamm, most recently took over redeveloping Civico by the Park in Banker’s Hill for another new yet-to-be-announced concept.

What Now San Diego is tracking updates on the project and will share details as they become available. For more information on the Creative House visit their Website
