Empanada Kitchen is planning its third outpost in San Diego, according to a recent permit filing. The Argentinian restaurant shared a recently-aired profile by CBS 8 news today, tagging its new partners Little Italy Food Hall and Grain & Grit Collective on its socials.
Little Italy Food Hall shared a teaser of its next vendor on social media, as the empanada eatery prepares to fill one of the seven stations at the food collective. Empanada Kitchen’s new neighbors include Coo Coo’s Nest, Not Not Tacos, Samburgers, and several others.
Empanada Kitchen currently operates locations in North Park and Downtown San Diego. The menu at features gourmet options like Sweet Corn and Basil, Mushroom and Goat Cheese, and a classic beef empanada served with their freshly made chimichurri sauce, plus traditional alfajores cookies.
