The plant-forward fast-casual restaurant Goop Kitchen is opening its first San Diego location at One Paseo Shopping Center, located at 3745 Paseo Place, Suite 840.
The new location will sit next to Postino and Parakeet Cafe, according to the One Paseo directory. The restaurant recently submitted documents to the San Diego Department of Environmental Health and Quality, and is expected to open sometime in 2026. Goop Kitchen will join another new tenant, SWTHZ, which is also listed as coming soon to the plaza.
Goop Kitchen is an extension of the lifestyle brand goop, founded by Gwyneth Paltrow in 2008. The concept focuses on “clean” and nutrient-forward meals, offering bowls, salads, handhelds, soups, pizzas, pasta, and desserts. Items labeled goop Certified Clean meet standards that exclude refined sugars, processed foods, gluten, dairy, seed oils, corn, peanuts, and preservatives.
One Paseo is a mixed-use development in Del Mar with 96,000 square feet of retail, 286,000 square feet of Class-A office space, and 608 luxury apartments. The campus features outdoor community spaces, including The Lawn, KOI Court, The Log, and The Firepit, designed to host events, offer seating, and create gathering spots for visitors. Sustainability initiatives at One Paseo include recycling and waste diversion, green cleaning, integrated pest management, and responsible sourcing practices.
The menu at the new Goop Kitchen location will include items such as Fall Blackened Salmon Bowl, Curry Cauliflower Soup, The goop Teriyaki Bowl, Pesto Both Worlds pizza, and Half Organic Rotisserie Chicken. Customers can expect gluten-free, plant-forward, and sustainably sourced options, with packaging designed to reduce environmental impact.
Goop Kitchen will join One Paseo’s mix of retail and dining offerings, which include Blue Bottle Coffee, North Italia, Shake Shack, and other well-known tenants. This will be an excellent landing space for the brand’s first San Diego location, providing accessible options for residents and visitors in a walkable, community-focused environment.
