A new garden-inspired cafe is in the works in La Jolla. Il Giardino di Lilli is set to move into the former Pannikin Cafe location on Girard Avenue at Pearl Street.
According to La Jolla Light, Co-Owners Edoardo Ciulli, Stefania Sciomachen and Giuseppe Scognamiglio, will revamp the cafe’s outdoor patio into a scene reminiscent of their native Italy.
La Jolla locals will be happy to know not many changes are planned for the structure and the space will undergo minor renovations under new ownership. Il Giardino di Lilli will serve locally-roasted coffee from Cafe Moto and pastries.
Il Giardino di Lilli is expected to open by July 2022. Follow the new coffee shop on Instagram as they settle into their new home in La Jolla.
