Jimmy John’s announced the opening of a new location in Chula Vista at 2260 Otay Lakes Road on January 29. The new Jimmy John’s restaurant joins the neighboring Dunkin’ restaurant, which opened in September of 2021. Owned and operated by local franchisee Tali Burton, the Jimmy John’s and Dunkin’ co-location will serve guests all their Jimmy John’s and Dunkin’ favorites in one convenient location.

“Our team is passionate about serving great food to our communities and we are thrilled to bring two beloved brands to one unique co-location for guests to enjoy,” said Burton in a statement. “Our other Dunkin’ and Jimmy John’s locations work very closely with the youth in our local communities, and I intend to uphold that tradition with the addition of this co-location.”

Jimmy John’s prides itself on being Freaky Fresh, as the brand slices its all-natural meats & fresh veggies in-house every day. The fresh-baked bread is made where you can see it and never more than 4 hours old. The flavor of a ripe tomato, crisp shredded lettuce, combined with fresh-baked bread, fresh-sliced meat and real Hellmann’s mayo – that’s when the magic happens. Made with love every single day since 1983.

The Next Generation Dunkin’ restaurant is designed for speed, convenience, and an elevated guest experience. Dunkin’s Next Gen design offers a fresh, friendly, vibrant atmosphere and is complete with a warm interior color palette, atmospheric lighting, a drive-thru lane, complimentary Wi-Fi, and an innovative tap system for cold beverages.

The new 1,200 square-foot Jimmy John’s location is open daily 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., employs 20 team members and can seat six people inside.
