A much needed distraction is headed to Main Ave in Fallbrook this year. A much Kneaded Distraction, I should say. Bakin’ It Up and Kneaded Distraction, two bakeries based in Fallbrook, are partnering up to create Bakin’ It Up Collective, a bakery and retail space that will soon open at 118 Main Ave in Fallbrook.

In early June of this year, Bakin’ It Up Collective announced over Instagram, “Located in the heart of Fallbrook at 118 Main Ave, The Collective will bring to town a cozy neighborhood bakery and cafe, as well as a unique shopping experience focusing on local artisans and women owned businesses. Future plans also include an evening dessert lounge.”

Owner of Kneaded Distraction, Jonanna Costello confirmed the news with What Now San Diego. Bakin’ It Up Collective…will feature [Bakin’ It Up] baked goods, my sourdough products and potentially one other local baker. We will also have a retail section featuring products from local and/or women owned businesses,” Costello wrote in an email.

Kneaded Distraction focuses on sough dough baked goods and specializes in loaves and bagels—even sourdough garlic knots with garlic-parm, pesto, and green chili/jack cheese. You’ll be able to find these and more at Bakin’ It Up Collective. Follow the collective’s social media for further updates on the storefront’s opening.
