La Cocina Mesa is preparing for a Spring opening in Carlsbad. The Mexican restaurant will debut in the restaurant face formerly occupied by Daphne’s in Plaza Paseo Real.
Described as Mexican comfort food with Southern California flair, La Cocina Mesa will join their sister businesses Black Rail Kitchen + Bar, Beach Plum Kitchen, and Tinleaf Fresh Kitchen led by Owners Jenny and Grant Gottesman.
Their social media teases some menu items currently being tested, with a variety of gourmet tacos served on fresh hand-made tortillas. The space comes with casual indoor and outdoor dining, serving elevated homestyle Mexican cuisine.
