Landmark Food Halls, who brought us Windmill Food Hall in Carlsbad, are working on their latest foodie hub called Miramar Food Hall. The Windmill’s sister location is in the works in San Clemente’s North Beach area.
Miramar Food Hall is three years in the making by San Diego restaurateurs Mohammad Muhtaseb and James Markham. The project involved intense reconstruction of the 1930s-era Miramar Theater, a California registered Historic site in San Clemente, along with the adjacent former bowling alley.
The new stop just off Coast Highway will feature 15 food vendors, a coffee shop, on-site bars, lots of outdoor dining options including rooftop dining with a view.
Their co-tenant in the historic building is Wedgewood Weddings, making the classic building and perfect coastal locale a highly coveted wedding venue. The wedding specialists are now booking for 2023 events.
Muhtaseb tells What Now San Diego the hall is fully leased with a diverse array of on-site vendors and they are projected to open Miramar Food Hall in Summer 2022. Keep updated as they reveal participating vendors by following their Instagram.
