Little Sisters Pizza, an upcoming pizza concept coming to North Park, has announced it is opening an adjacent restaurant called Twin Sister next door at 4048 30th Avenue.
Previously, What Now San Diego reported on a new concept called Sisters Pizza, replacing Sicilian Thing Pizza at 4046 30th Street. The father-and-daughter duo Bill and Emily Green, along with Emily’s husband, Trevor Lake, are already expanding the business in the adjacent space to open Twin Sisters, moving into the former home of Meet Cute Romance Bookshop, which has relocated to La Mesa, according to an Instagram announcement. Both concepts are expected to open in the first half of 2025.
This is a massive accomplishment for the family business, which was started in loving memory of Kate Green, the older sister of the sisters, who passed away at 36. When the new Twin Sisters concept opens next year, customers can expect the same menu from Little Sisters, including signature New York City/ New Jersey-inspired pizzas, sandwiches, salads, appetizers, beer, wine, and frozen pizzas, except with more space to enjoy, making it an excellent option for larger groups.
“Remember those stories from the olden days when people didn’t realize they were having twins until they were born? In the final stages of labor of Little Sisters, we found out we are having twins!” according to the company’s Instagram announcement. “Twin Sister coming in Spring 2025!! Located adjacent to Little Sisters on 30th b/t Lincoln and Polk, North Park. For sure will offer extra seating, more great pizza, wine, and beer…not as Little as we thought.”
