Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant Luscious Dumplings is getting ready to make its San Diego debut in Chula Vista, located at 884 Eastlake Parkway.

The company’s fourth location is set to open at the Village Walk at Eastlake Shopping Center, according to the mall’s website. This restaurant has no exact opening date, but it will likely open in the first half of 2025. Luscious Dumplings also has locations in Monrovia and Philadelphia, with another location coming soon to Beverly Hills, while its sister restaurant, Mason’s Dumpling Shop, has locations in Highland Park, plus three sites in Colorado at Aurora, Boulder, and Belham.

Alan Lam and Grace Li founded Luscious Dumpling in 2001. In 2012, their daughter Michelle Wu and her husband Ker Zhu opened a Monrovia location. Then, in 2018, the couple expanded into Highland Park, naming their new eatery Mason’s Dumpling Shop after their son. While this brand is more recent, the company proposes opening a Luscious Dumplings location at the Village Walk at Eastlake. The owners previously tried to open a location in Anaheim at 1800 S Harbor Boulevard, but those plans failed to materialize.

When the Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant opens later this year, customers can look forward to an array of delicious dumplings made fresh each morning. The dumplings will include juicy pork and fresh chives, crafted using the highest quality meat and traditional family recipes passed down through generations. The menu will also feature soup noodles such as pork noodles and sliced pork belly noodles. In addition, there will be a selection of snacks and vegetable drinks, including Seaweed Salad with Chili Garlic, Small Bok Choy with Oyster Sauce, and more.
