Celia and Moe Ebrahimi’s coffee company, Moe Coffee, has already made a name and a home for itself in San Diego. With two locations open, the company continues to busy itself by opening now a third, this time in National City. That’s right, Moe Coffee will join other food and retail vendors in National City’s new downtown food hall, Market on 8th. Market on 8th will open in a 9,000 square-foot space and soon welcome as many as 14 other vendors.
Moe Coffee, if you haven’t heard, roasts their own beans on the micro scale. “We have found that micro roasting produces a richness of flavor and quality that cannot be matched by commercial roasters. All our beans are roasted in small batches to the exact and unique specifications for each single origin bean,” shares the company’s website. “We roast our beans every week, so you will always be enjoying the freshest beans in your coffee.”
Moe Coffee boasts no small menu. If their website is any indication, at Market on 8th you should be able to find an array of ‘just pure coffee’ items from espresso to cold brew to pour over. They also have a specialty coffee menu with lattes, macchiatos, even a con panna, which is an espresso topped with whipped cream. Oh, and not to worry, the café has a coffee-free menu for those who eschew the best beverage in this world.
We were unable to reach the owners at the time of publication, so you’ll want to follow Moe Coffee on social media for more information.
