The team from Mostra Coffee look to be adding a new location in Mira Mesa. A recent permit filing places the latest spot on the corner of Mira Mesa Boulevard and Reagan Road.
This will be the fourth cafe for Mostra, who currently operate in Bankers Hill, 4S Ranch, and Carmel Mountain Ranch. This new site looks to come equipped with a drive-thru, previously a home to a Cotixan Mexican restaurant.
Founders and co-owners Beverly Magtanong, Jelynn Malone, Mike Arquines, and Sam Magtanong have built the brand since 2013. The Mostra brand highlights their shared Filipino heritage and provides farm-to-cup coffee through direct trade relationships with farmers. Sourcing premium beans from the Philippines, Mostra has been recognized by Roast Magazine as Roaster of the Year in 2020.
