Since the late 1980s, siblings Gina and Vince Marsaglia, have been brewing beer and slinging pies in their brewpub and eatery Pizza Port Brewing Co. With a handful of locations up and down the San Diego county coastline, it only makes sense that the owners are adding another, this time on Palm Ave in Imperial Beach.
Our intel suggests the owners recently filed a permit application for 204 Palm Ave. The space, only a few blocks from the ocean, will give Pizza Port 3,141 square-feet to work with.
Should you choose to frequent brewpub’s newest location once it’s up and running, you might find yourself sampling from some of their diverse brews, which include the ‘Drivin’ Me Hazy’ IPA; ‘Solana Beach Nugs,’ a dry-hopped golden ale; and the ‘Rivermouth Raspberry’ wheat ale. They also pour their own kettle sours, oatmeal stouts, coffee porters, and Irish stouts. Basically, there’s something for every beer-enthusiast.
And given the brewpub started as a rehabbed pizza joint, you’ll want to sample their signature pies. Or you can always create your own. In addition to a substantial pizza menu, the brewpub also serves up a range of salads and appetizers.
We were unable to confirm the opening timeline with the owners at the time of publication. Follow Pizza Port’s social media to learn more.
