San Diego Sunshine Bites, a new charcuterie catering company, is preparing to open at 9605 Kearny Villa Road within the San Diego Commercial Kitchen Rental.

The business will offer charcuterie boards, grazing tables, charcuterie cups, and a mobile Bottomless Charcuterie Cart for events. Founded by Senaida Fierro, the company is currently waiting for final approval of its catering permit and plans to begin service in the coming weeks. Fierro tells What Now San Diego that at this moment, there are no plans to open a brick-and-mortar. The owner plans to focus on operating within the shared commercial kitchen.

“San Diego Sunshine Bites is almost here!” according to the company’s social media. “We’re bringing sunshine to every bite with stunning charcuterie creations made to elevate your beach days, brunches, and celebrations. Whether you’re grazing in the sand or gathering with friends, we’ve got the bites that bring the glow.”

San Diego Commercial Kitchen Rental offers a 13,000 sq. ft. shared-use kitchen for food businesses. The facility is open 24/7 and includes standard commercial equipment, storage, and security. Monthly rent covers utilities and supplies, with extra fees for kitchen hours and storage. It serves a range of producers, including bakers, caterers, and manufacturers of wellness products.
