A new restaurant labeled SB Kitchen is in the planning stage to join the ranks of Solana Beach eateries. While we know little about the restaurant concept, our intel places them in the restaurant space formerly occupied by Alfonso’s of La Jolla which closed in early 2020.
The location is part of the Beachwalk Shopping Center at 437 S Highway 101. According to marketing documents by JLL Commercial Real Estate, the site has ample space to convert to outdoor seating around the unit.
Neighbors include California Pizza Kitchen, Vino Carta, and Yoga Six. SB Kitchen will be next door to the upcoming Solana 101 property, currently in development for a 2023 debut.
The revitalized area will include residential, co-working space, restaurants, and retail to bring in additional foot traffic to this strip of Highway 101.
