Señor Mangos, a small but growing juice bar and cafe in North Park, is ready to open a new location in Hillcrest at 101 W Washington Street.

The company’s third location is set to move into the former home of Copper Top Coffee & Donuts and, before that, Wienerschnitzel, according to signage on the building. Co-owner Armando Leon tells What Now San Diego that he and his brother Jaime Leon hope to open this location in either February or March 2025, offering the same delicious acai bowls, smoothies, juices, and more. Señor Mangos has two locations at 4607 30th Street and 3042 North Park Way.

Señor Mangos is a small eatery that offers something for everyone. It specializes in healthier options, such as salads, wraps, tortas, and more. Some San Diego favorites on the menu include a banana split, escamocha, which is finely chopped seasonal fruits served in a cup with sweet cream, diced almonds, and coconut, iced mocha, pina colada, and chamango, a thick blend of mango, homemade chile sauce, lime, and chamoy topped with mango pieces.

This will be an excellent location for the company’s newest location, as it is in a high-traffic area along Washington Street. In addition to opening in a very noticeable building, the site will likely be the company’s first drive-thru location, with the preexisting drive-thru window previous tenants used. Soon, Hillcrest will have a new to-go eatery that offers plenty of snacks, drinks, and treats that are perfect for eating while walking around the area.
