Construction is underway to build out the new restaurant space for Spicy Lao Kitchen. Located in Spectrum Village Shopping Mall in Kearny Mesa, the new spot will be a neighbor to Quantum Brewing and Anny’s Burgers.
The new restaurant is from the creators of JL Jerkys, an online business which delivers addictive jerky’s in a variety of flavors. We don’t know too much about Spicy Lao Kitchen in its early stages of development. However, their Instagram page gives us a little taste of what’s to come.
Spicy Lao Kitchen plans to bring a taste of Lao to San Diego. They specialize in authentically-served Lao and Thai dishes and desserts.
You’ll find Laotian-style BBQ, hot pot, and fondue, with a spread of sliced beef and pork cuts, seafood, and vegetables.
The restaurant is in its permitting process with the city and is expected to finalize the project by Early 2022. For now, visit Spicy Lao Kitchen on Instagram for a peak at their cuisine style.
