Spill the Beans is looking to add their third cafe and bakery in San Diego. SanDiegoVille first reported that the coffee shop known for their scratch-made bagels and specialty drinks will join the neighborhood of Pacific Beach next. According to a recent permit filing, the bagel shop looks to replace a US Bank location on Garnet which comes complete with a drive-thru window.
Founded in 2017 by The Verant Group, Spill the Beans is one of seven restaurant concepts by the local hospitality group. The Verant Group also operates spots in Pacific Beach and the Gaslamp like Maverick’s and The Smoking Gun.
Spill the Beans serves up gourmet bagels, breakfast munchies, and a variety of coffee drinks with trendy names from their two locations in the Gaslamp and Seaport Village.
House favorite drinks include the Basic Sitch, a caramel and vanilla latte, and La Vida Mocha, a Mexican chocolate mocha. For those looking to get toasted, their bagel spreads will delight with flavors like Veggie Ranch or sun dried tomato cream cheese.
