Storyhouse Spirits has announced an opening date.

“San Diego’s East Village distillery and kitchen opening May 1,” Storyhouse Spirits posted to its Instagram.

Co-Owner Matt Kidd said Storyhouse Spirits would be releasing more information about the opening but did not respond to What Now San Diego’s request for comment in time of publication.

Storyhouse Spirits is an urban distillery, bar, and lounge that occupies 7,600 square feet in the East Village neighborhood of San Diego. From the mountains and deserts to the Pacific Coast, Storyhouse Spirits wants to embrace all of California living.

“Bursting at the seams with excitement to welcome you all,” Storyhouse Spirits posted to social media on Wednesday. “Now taking reservations.”

The menu now available for viewing online, features shared plates like wild meatballs and Korean Duck tacos, flatbreads, sides, and other entrees.

The distillery also recently announced the addition of a new beverage director, Elliott Mizuki.
