Japanese Restaurant concept Suki Hana has been in operation since 1999, under parent company IRMG. The International Restaurant Management Group also owns Popeye’s and Wok-A-Holic franchise entities. Permitting has now been requested to add the franchise to Westfield North County, at 200 E Via Rancho Parkway in Escondido

Suki Hana is currently in operation in 13 States across the US and expanding to 3 more, including California. Their website lists 7 Southern California malls they’ll soon be popping up in. The location at Fashion Valley Mall is confirmed as a new addition to their food court.

According to their website, “Suki Hana brings the best of Japanese cuisine to our customers, at a fraction of the price typical Japanese restaurants can charge. Our delicious teriyaki dishes are cooked fresh to order on our teppanyaki grill, right in front of our guests.”

Other menu staples are crispy tempura, freshly made sushi, and chicken teriyaki with house-made teriyaki sauce. No opening dates have been released but San Diegans may have a new mall food court stop to visit this holiday shopping season.
