Chef Steve Brown’s Swagyu Burgers and Chop Shop recently shared art renderings of their latest location in the works in Oceanside. The Wagyu beef specialists will soon bring their butcher shop talents to the Freeman Collective project on Vista Way.
The Swagyu brand has expanded since opening their original location in Imperial Beach in 2020. They currently operate a restaurant in Pacific Beach, and Butcher Shop and food truck in Poway.
The latest in the Swagyu Chop Shop family, the Oceanside branch will feature a restaurant and bar, serving up their Signature Swagyu Smash Burger along with their Omakase-style tasting menu.
Much like their Pacific Beach location, the restaurant will serve as another outpost for highlighting their passion for Wagyu beef from America, Japan, and Australia.
Swagyu Chop Shop Oceanside rounds out the final tenancy at the Freeman Collective 1 building currently in construction. Neighbors at the site include LA’s HomeState, and Blackmarket Bakery.
