An upscale Cajun seafood restaurant, The Boil Daddy, is preparing to debut in San Diego, located in Liberty Station at 2558 Laning Road, #102.
The company’s 21st location is set to move into the former home of Issara Thai, according to a recent liquor license application. Owner Dinesh Shah tells What Now San Diego that he plans to open in February 2025. Before doing this, the business owner will open a new modern Indian restaurant in La Mesa called Aromas of India. This new restaurant is scheduled to have its soft opening on December 20 in the Baltimore West Shopping Center. After this, Shah will open the first Boil Daddy in San Diego.
The Boil Daddy started with two individuals who shared a passion for food and the desire to spread their unique flavors to the people of Los Angeles. The Boil Daddy quickly gained traction with its catchy-funny brand name and affordable, juicy seafood selection. In 2022, the company began franchising in California and Texas to become the fastest-growing Cajun seafood concept. The Boil Daddy is also opening independently owned locations in Santa Ana, Anaheim, Denver, Eugene, and Fairview, TX
“The Boil Daddy has opened over 12+ locations due to our rising popularity and awards from Forbes and other notable media outlets,” according to the company’s website. “The Boil Daddy is aiming to open in all major cities along with a goal to expand to more than 50+ locations by 2025. The Boil Daddy’s mission is to provide all customers with excellent service whether customers dine in or order from the comfort of their home. We are constantly developing new flavors and can’t wait to share them with you!”
