This week The Lullabar announced via Instagram that the future is looking bright for the new cafe concept. They hope to debut soon in an undisclosed location.
Introduced by Co-Founders Stephanie Issa and Christine Ong Forsythe of Lavish Weddings, The Lullabar will debut as a Wellness Cafe, mixing self-care and childcare for mothers and caregivers. Imagine a place where you can bring along your little one with you while you tick off all your self-care to-dos.
The community space plans to feature a cafe, a variety of on-site beauty services, fitness classes, with the main feature being a secure and monitored play gym area to keep the children occupied and safe while parents partake in much-needed adult time.
According to their social media posts, day passes and monthly memberships will be offered upon opening. A day pass will provide childcare while the parent or caregiver receives a separately-charged service. The space will also be available for private rental for your birthday party and baby shower needs. The Lullabar will offer tons of options for “you time” while your little sidekick is close by in their own kid-friendly area. Take a yoga class, indulge in eyelash services, get a massage or manicure, shop around, meet up with other parents in the cafe, or attend a workshop.
The project is expected to be completed by August 2022. Eager mamas can jump on the waitlist now to be the first updated about opening dates and membership opportunities. Follow The Lullabar on Instagram for more information and sound motherly advice.
Note: This article has been updated to retract initially proposed neighborhood where The Lullabar was to enter a lease.
