Seaport Village looks to add another local eatery to its growing roster. According to a recent permit filing, The Mini Donut Company is expected to join the local tourist attraction on the bay.
The business introduced its flagship location at the Liberty Station Public Market in early 2022. Owner Matt Whiffen has since expanded to Little Italy Food Hall, Carlsbad’s Windmill Food Hall, and Portland’s Pine Street Market. The company has also set up a commercial kitchen in the UTC area to keep up with its local market service and fulfill catering needs.
The Mini Donut Company offers a rotating menu of donut flavors, with classic options like glazed, powdered, and candy-coated, plus plenty of colorful sprinkles and seasonal options.
The Port of San Diego continues with revitalization plans to offer new and exciting dining options at Seaport Village. Incoming restaurants Cork and Batter, Malibu Farm, Shorebird, Crack Taco Shop, and Gladstone’s are expected to open as soon as Summer 2023 into next year.
